How Does SureKlot™ Work?

  • When a SureKlot patch, gauze or powder is pressed against the wounded tissue it absorbs and blocks blood within its pores.

  • This leads to mechanical interlocking with the tissue surface and provides instant bioadhesion.

  • Through its positive charge, the PBTTM biopolymer attracts red blood cells (RBC) negatively charged and platelets and entraps them into its structure.

  • This leads to the activation of the platelets and results in formation of a strong blood clot.

  • The combined effect of bio-adhesion and strong blood clot is instant Haemostasis.
